From her earliest childhood, she was fascinated by portraits, oil
paintings representing a figure in a surrealistic décor.
Thanks to her favourite subject, “The Woman”, she may freely let go
her fantasy and moods. She
has chosen for water
colours because of the transparency, other lights and shades.
She
received her training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kortrijk and was
lucky to have famous teachers, with whom
she still has good contacts.
The
artist and friend, Shaoul Smira gove advise to her and stimulated her
passion for
water colours, this technical that she cherish so much. Her
friends, Shaoul and Batia invited her several times in New York
in spite of working and making herself more skilful.
She
lives and works in Antwerpen.
In
October 2003, at the time of an exhibition of small water colours,
organised by the European Institute of Water colours in Brussels,
she obtained the price of l’ ARAPB.
